Panasonic arrives this year with its new camera, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX2 which is a special camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was unveiled on the North American market on the 21/7/04. This nice little piece of technology measures 94 x 50 x 24 mm while weights 148 g. The Lumix DMC-FX2 gets a maximum resolution of 2304 x 1728. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480, 1920 x 1080 (16:9). The image ratio (width / height) on the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX2 has been set at 4:3, 16:9, for a total of 4.0 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the Lumix DMC-FX2 is a CCD which measures 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter.

Panasonic implemented a digital zoom on the Lumix DMC-FX2 and included an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays .
